Terence O'Hare, M.D., A.B.H.R.S., F.C.S. (S.A.), F.R.C.S.- Bosley Physician
Dr. O'Hare is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who has been performing cosmetic surgery, including hair restoration procedures, for over 25 years. He has a Masters degree in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. In addition, he is a Fellow of three international Surgical Colleges including the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the College of Medicine of South Africa and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Scotland -- the oldest Surgical College in the world.
After completing military service in 1963, Dr. O'Hare entered medical school at the University of Pretoria S.A. and received his medical degree at age 24. He did his internship at the Pretoria Academic Hospital and his surgical residency at King Edward VIII Hospital and the University of Natal S.A. He then commenced his Plastic Surgical residency at the world-renowned Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town S.A. where, among other medical milestones, the world's first heart transplantation was performed. After completing his residency training, Dr. O'Hare was appointed Specialist/Lecturer and subsequently Senior Specialist/Senior Lecturer in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Groote Schuur Hospital and University of Cape Town S.A., where he was involved in the full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, including maxillofacial surgery, orthognathic surgery and microvascular limb replantation surgery. During this time, he was honored by being elected a member of the Board of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Cape Town.
In 1989, Dr. O'Hare moved to Canada with his wife and their three daughters and went into private plastic surgical practice in Trail British Columbia. During his sojourn in Canada, he was appointed Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the Trail Regional Hospital. In early 2001, Dr. O'Hare affiliated with Bosley and now works in the downtown Chicago office. Prior to relocating to the United States and joining Bosley Chicago, Dr. O'Hare successfully completed the United States Medical Licensing Examinations and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates of the United States Examinations.
Dr. O'Hare has been licensed to practice medicine in numerous jurisdictions in North America and around the world and he has been affiliated with several Medical and Plastic Surgical societies and associations internationally. He maintains active membership in the American Medical Association, the Canadian Medical Association, the Canada Society of Plastic Surgery and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.

Allan Parungao, M.D., F.A.C.S. – Bosley Physician
Dr. Allan Parungao is a plastic surgeon board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has specialized in cosmetic surgery, aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, craniofacial surgery including repair of cleft lip and palate, head and neck reconstruction, oncologic (cancer) surgery, elective and traumatic hand surgery, burn surgery, microvascular surgery, laser surgery and reconstruction of the trunk and lower extremities prior to dedicating his practice to hair restoration surgery.
Dr. Parungao received his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident during his plastic surgery residency. There, he also trained in general surgery. Dr. Parungao went on to receive his Master's degree in physiology from the Chicago Medical School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. The passion and dedication Dr. Parungao holds for education and learning extends to the patients he takes care of every day as well as to his career.
Dr. Parungao is a member of several prestigious professional societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Academy of Facial, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgeons. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery
He is a respected author and speaker, having authored a number of medical publications including a chapter entitled "A Woman's Guide to Cosmetic Breast Surgery and Body Contouring" as well as a chapter on plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery in the Boards Review Series: Surgery. Dr. Parungao has done research on skin cancer and wound healing, and his work has been presented to the Illinois Chapter of the American College of Surgeons and the Midwest Association of Plastic Surgeons. He has also spoken on breast surgery nationally and internationally.
